Bitcoin Miami 2022
So why hasn’t bitcoin gone to $100K yet? Peter Theil, the PayPal co-founder, answered the question at the Miami Bitcoin Conference last week. To summarize, he used the word - gerontocracy. The dictionary defines it as a state, society, or group governed by old people. Theil also named the enemies of Bitcoin. Number one on his hit list is Warren Buffet, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, whom he referred to as a psychopathic grandpa from Omaha. Number two is Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, and number three is Larry Fink, the CEO of Blackrock.
The Tumbling AXS Price
The AXS price continues to tumble further down from its all-time high of $165 last year in November. Ronin Network, the crypto network that helps power the Axie Infinity Play to Earn NFT Game, was the victim of a $625 million hack. Despite raising $150 million in funds to compensate players, the token price continues to tumble. The price is currently sitting at $45 at the time of writing.
The Epic Lego Metaverse
The Lego Group and Epic Games (creators of the online video game Fortnight) have partnered up to build a family-friendly Metaverse. The two companies will create a kids Metaverse, where child safety and privacy will be the cornerstones of their project.
