The artist creates an authentic piece in the network, and it is tokenized as a crypto-collectible digital item that you can own and trade. Why the need for Blockchain technology?
There is many examples of fraudulent activity around the Art niche due to the rather huge amount of money that is involved. People replicate the real piece and sell it for high end prices or people go as far as stealing the Art in some
cases. But with SuperRare on the Ethereum Blockchain it is secured by cryptography and makes this impossible because the entire origin of the artwork can be tracked on a distributed ledger that is controlled by no one.

What is the structure if the platform?
There is a 3% fee on all transactions For primary sales there is a 15% commission fee for the seller
The creator gets 85% for it For secondary sales the creator receives 10% and if his/her artwork jeeps getting traded it can be a good passive form of income.
